Gooey Smoked Sausage Skillet - smoked wiener, tomato sauce, chicken stock, substantial cream, refrigerated cheddar tortellini and parmesan. Everything cooks in a similar dish! Indeed, even the pasta!! SO natural and overly flavorful! We ate this 2 evenings in succession.
I am truly into these no-bubble, one-pot skillet dishes. I have caused a few and we to have cherished every one of them. They are anything but difficult to tidy up and take under 30 minutes to make. Who doesn't love that?!
We both totally LOVED this dish. There was a decent smokiness from the wiener. We really utilized smoked turkey wiener, however ordinary smoked frankfurter would be incredible as well! The sauce had an incredible flavor too. I truly adored the parmesan cheddar in it. I needed to eat the whole skillet independent from anyone else. I didn't; I reluctantly imparted to Chicken Legs. There was sufficient remaining for lunch, and it was similarly delectable warmed. This will go into the ordinary supper revolution!
ingredients:
1 lb smoked sausage, sliced into 1/4-inch slices
1 Tbsp olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp tomato paste
1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 (9-oz) package refrigerated cheese tortellini
1/4 cup parmesan cheese
instructions:
In a 12-inch skillet, brown sausage in olive oil.
Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Stir in remaining ingredients.
Bring to a boil then cover and simmer on low for 12-15 minutes.
Serve with additional parmesan cheese, if desired.
