LOW-CARB SMOKED TURKEY & CUCUMBER "SANDWICHES" #EASYRECIPES #HEALTHYVEGAN
I attempt to eat low-carb or no-carb for the duration of the day, constraining my carb admission to supper as it were. As a matter of fact however, I haven't been doing very well with this of late ... It's a great opportunity to refocus.
With this low-carb during the day eating approach, I'm continually endeavoring to think of extraordinary failure carb lunch decisions that are speedy, simple, and delicious. Low-carb Smoked Turkey and Cucumber "Sandwiches" ... that utilization ... I'm certain you gotten it,cucumber cuts rather than bread!
Cut on a level plane into genuinely meager cuts, cucumber cuts work impeccably for making sandwiches ~ without the carbs. To skirt the bread, essentially cut a cucumber the long route into boards to replace your run of the mill sandwich bread. You'll need to pick a cucumber that is quite wide to give the most "space" for making your bread-less cucumber sandwich.
Ingredients:
- a wide cucumber
- spreadable cheese {such as cream cheese or Laughing Cow cheese wedges}
- fresh or dried dill
- sliced deli smoked turkey
- salt & pepper
Directions:
- Remove ends of cucumber. Cut cucumber into 5-inch or 6-inch long pieces {or longer if you'd like!}. Cut each cucumber piece horizontally into approximately 1/4-inch thick slices to form the sandwich 'bread.'
- For each 'sandwich,' lay out one cucumber slice and sprinkle with a bit of salt and pepper. Spread with cheese, sprinkle with dill, and lay on some smoked turkey.
- Top with another cucumber slice and sprinkle the top with additional salt, pepper, and dill.
