SMOKED SAUSAGE HASH #VEGETABLES #ITALIAN

This tasty Smoked Sausage Hash is prepared in under 30 minutes! A delightful blend of generous smoked frankfurter, fresh potatoes and beautiful vegetables. This dish is ideal for any supper of the day.

There's nothing I cherish in excess of a heavenly supper loaded with flavor that is fast and simple to plan. Life is occupied of late with soccer training, occupied weeknights thus significantly more. This tasty Smoked Sausage Hash is the ideal straightforward feast answer for occupied evenings! I couldn't accept how great this dish was! It was enjoyable to get ready. I cut the vegetables after the frankfurter and the smell from the wiener was so great I was so enticed to eat some without cooking it!

This supper turned out so great. It's as of now one of my preferred supper plans on my blog. It helped me to remember Dutch Oven meals that take hours to make from the stunning flavors I was getting from the smoked hotdog and delectable vegetables. I don't significantly more flavoring than salt and pepper in light of the fact that the fixings are that great. Be that as it may, don't hesitate to include Italian flavoring or Cajun flavoring on the off chance that you'd like.
INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 3-4 potatoes, cubed
  • 1 (14 oz.) package Hillshire Farm Smoked Sausage, sliced
  • 2 peppers, diced (red, green or orange)
  • 1 med. onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • optional seasonings: Italian seasoning or Cajun
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat in a large skillet or cast iron. Add the potatoes and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Cook until desired crispiness about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Set aside using a slotted spoon.
  3. Turn the heat down to medium and cook the smoked sausage for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, until lightly browned.
  4. Add the onions and peppers and cook, stirring frequently, until the onions are soft and translucent and the peppers and tender. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Stir the potatoes back in and continue cooking for another minute or two. Add more salt and pepper if needed or other seasonings as desired.
NOTES:
To save on time, cook the potatoes in a separate skillet while you cook the smoked sausage and vegetables.
