ONE POT PASTA #EASYRECIPES #DINNER

The least demanding, most astounding pasta you will ever make. Indeed, even the pasta gets cooked right in the pot. How simple is that?! 

With Jason's graduation today and our up and coming move back to Los Angeles in the following couple of weeks, we've been scrambling here left and right. We've been falling back on either take-out or skipped meals by and large. In any case, cooking at home has been somewhat extreme. That is the reason this too simple, straightforward one pot spaghetti totally spared us from a calorie-ridden take-out dinner! 

Presently this is most likely the least demanding pasta dish you will ever make in all your years. It's actually a 5-min prep, and afterward everything gets hurled directly in the skillet, including the uncooked spaghetti. Give the water a chance to reach boiling point and that is it! Presently how simple is that? 

So whenever you need to over-burden on Thai take-out, this pasta is an absolute necessity. It's simply too simple not to make!
INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 1 (12.8-ounce) package smoked andouille sausage, thinly sliced
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 cups halved grape tomatoes
  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves, loosely packed
  • 4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan

DIRECTIONS:
  1. In a large stockpot or Dutch oven over medium high heat, combine spaghetti, sausage, onion, tomatoes, basil, garlic and 4 1/2 cups water; season with salt and pepper, to taste.
  2. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, until pasta is cooked through and liquid has reduced, about 8-10 minutes. Stir in Parmesan.
  3. Serve immediately.
